Getting old ...

Just back from my a weekend away for my cousin's 21st birthday party. Always interesting when you get our family together but we must all be mellowing as we get older, it was all very pleasant and a lot of fun to catch up. Mind you, my immediate family headed off for bed around one in the morning and I suspect the real fun was had after that

I didn't get to watch all of eurovision cos of the kids sleep time but B downloaded it and listens to it non stop during his office hours. Do you have a favourite? I think the western europeans are being outvoted by the eastern block these days (as they perpetually and bitterly complain) but none the less it makes for an interesting sociological experiment.

I didn't end up seeing much of it. Really just had it in the background while I did other things, even switched it off before the winner!

But they announce it on SBS before the show even starts so to do that is actually quite superfluous. I didn't end up staying up although I wanted to as I had only seen snippets of the winning Russian song. DId you see it?
