I have just spent the better part of my day being paid to sit in on comedians talking about cultural stereotypes and identity. Fantastic shows, the kids really got into it and the comedians were just wonderful. They did a short stand-up routine each first and then sat down and discussed things slightly more seriously; being Australian, being 'ethnic', how it effects their comedy, what they're trying to achieve among other things. The kids got to ask questions and everyone had a ball. So nice to be able to host something that's not weighed down by a perception of 'worthy' history.
