A Tad Behind
Yesterday, my geography students all failed their test. The rage on my face was quite obvious, and they all scurried out the door as fast as their little legs could take them. I believe out of eighty students I only had five pass.
Of course, that may sound terrible on my part and fuel desires for a retest, but when I sat there and said, "If you study this worksheet, those notes, that quiz, and those notes, the questions will be the EXACT same ones on the test." Despite that they all still failed. I know it wasn't because the test was hard but because they chose not to study.
Thank God my favorite Gregory pulled out an A and made me smile.
