So I was in the process of finishing up the garage door installation this evening. I was hooking up the sensors to the door rails when I bumped into a container that was housing my differential and a foul smelling concoction of motor oil, differential oil, and anti-freeze. I spent the next 45 minutes cleaning up the garage and driveway. I have no clue what the driveway looks like right now, but I imagine that I will need to etch it this weekend to remove all the oil stains that will be present in the morning. On a good note, the concrete stain in the garage did it's job and didn't stain.
The weekend was fun. Ended up going to the renaissance festival. Lots of cool pictures. There were some great moments there too. I'll have to describe them where ever I host the pictures :-)
Made some renovation purchases this weekend too. I picked up some florescent lights and shelves for the garage. I'll also be making a work bench. I hope the project won't last for more than 3 weeks. I did get one of the lights installed in the place of the 60W incandescent bulb. All I have to say is, wow. The two florescent bulbs practically lights up the whole garage (and I'm going to put up 12 :-D). This should make working on the car much easier, cleaner, and enjoyable. I'll need to turn my attention to the backyard soon too.
Well, I had hoped to go to bed early this evening, but the incident with the oil tanker said otherwise. Good night to all.
