Update on Shanghai (from sg):-
Been there for like 2 months+, still trying to get used to it... For me, language isnt very much a barrier but I'm not so used to 100% chinese, while oz & sg is more multi racial and cultural, in Shanghai, as long as u look asian / chinese, they will speak in mandarin / pu tong hua to you. Of course my chinese improve tremendously.
The place I'm living is quite nice, a condo unit, having a whole house to yourself is a luxury......though it can be quite tiring to clean up.
And yes they do ban alot of sites like LJ, friendster,etc..... dont ask me why......i have no idea.......
i will post some photos of shanghai soon before i fly back to shanghai again this weekend....
miss everyone here.....anyhow, feel free to unfriend me, i hadnt really have the time to get access to anime/bl/seiyuu nor even access to LJ in shanghai.
