"Well, you went out last night after you had already been drinking. Drinking and driving. Then didn't let me know you made it home ok either."

"I'm sorry. It wasn't far."

"It doesn't take far for something to go wrong. I'm not going to sit at home and worry over someone that is drinking and driving. If you're going to do that we're not going to date."

I don't think that is a bad request. Drink at home or have someone sober do the driving. 41 and 24... She's 17 years older and sometimes I swear I'm the more responsible one. And three to four miles is far if you've been drinking. Two blocks is far if you've been drinking. Just starting the car is going too far if you ask me.
