Also with no translators, and in the Wizard of Oz movie when dorthy wakes up from her dream and says "and you were there! and you and you, and you!" all the faces are a little too familar to me and instead of Aunt Em there's a giant spitting and hissing

I thought we were learning to hate the Good Doctor, Mirri. No more Wild Turkey. Iowa City is a snowglobe that doesn't need to be inverted. THAT'S something to smile about. Also. If you're sick of people, tell them you're busy. I do it all the time. If I didn't get the alone time that I do, I'd turn into a slobbering mess of madness. I mean, I'm halfway there already, you know? But Hell, no reasonable person will begrudge you a little bit of serenity. I promise.

maybe you're pushing too hard to make yourself write what you've already started. Maybe you should try something knew. Just sit down and go and don't worry about plot, form, description. Just write.

Also, maybe you should stay home this monday... as long as you don't turn around and hang out with someone else.
