Why, oh, why do we give in? They are selling us things we don't really want and things we definitely don't really need and they're good at it! Why would you possibly need to drive that SUV around in the desert? You know you're never going to, but, hey, at least you think you can! Why do we need to sit on our asses all day and watch someone else live happy lives? Why don't we just go out and make ourselves happy? Is it really that difficult to do what you want to do, say what you want to say, think what you want to think? Is it? I don't understand how the majority of people can say that they are unhappy. You know what makes you happy--now take the steps to it. Now we can talk to anyone anywhere and play games anywhere and drive anywhere and get the latest sports update anywhere and check our email anywhere. Majority always rules, but is majority always right? Don't give in to their standards; any of their standards. Why should you have to go to at least four more years of schooling to get a degree that will earn you more money so you can buy things that you only think you need because they tell you that you need them when you can just open up a book or two and learn the things you'd like to no, the things you think will be useful in your life? Can't we do something to save our lives? I'm not talking that save the environment, don't eat meat, believe in god bullshit. You can do whatever you want to make yourself happy. You are the most important person in your life. Just think about it--without yourself, you wouldn't be here. And why would you want to be unhappy? Some people can find happiness in their sorrow, and good for them. Plan your life around what you want, what you need, what you desire if you're going to plan your life at all. It shouldn't be up to them to decide what's best for you. I mean, why is it anyway? Can't we all just be content? Your life's fucked up? Then, fix it. How difficult is that. You can always overcome. You can always be on top. Everyone can be on top. It's just a matter of time before things change. Some day soon it won't be about what brand and how expensive your clothes are or what type of coffee you drink and you did it first or what you have under your hood and how shiny it is or how many people you've fucked and how frequently or what bands you like and introduced everyone else to or what your faith is or what their faith is. None of that shit will matter. Just do what feels natural and don't sit on your ass when you could be helping things change. It's not that hard. Go somewhere--walk, drive, fly--it doesn't matter. Just go and look at all the beauty the rest of the world holds! And you thought you could only see that on your television screen. There's a lot more you thought you knew.
