It's very good to hear so many talking at such length about the achievements of their parents, what their parents have done. But I believe, and rightfully so I imagine, that more important is what parents have done for their children, and what their children can achieve because of this ( Read more... )

That I'm a horrible bitch in most cases, I'm sure.

People as a whole have a tendency to care about their own lives, rather than what they're leaving for those who will continue after they're gone.

I prefer to do most things directly. It saves me and everyone else time.

I like to think that it's true. Our own lives are more pointless in comparison to what effect we can have on the future.
