Camping and the Internet
How come Department of Natural Resources websites suck? Seriously, I should just wait until I go home and pull out my Michigan Atlas and Gazetteer. All I really want is that big table that tells me which state parks have which kinds of facilities. Indiana looses out because I don't have an Indiana atlas. At least Indiana's website makes use of embedded googlemaps. Better than Michigan's "click on a county and we'll tell you what parks are there!" system. I don't really care what county, I just want to know which parks within a few hours' drive have both primitive camping and really interesting natural features. Is that so hard? I'm not gonna go through half the state one county at a time.
Actually, Ohio's parks website is much better, aesthetically. But I'm less interested in staying in Ohio at the moment. Well, maybe down in southern Ohio where I think there's some caves.
