all i have to go on is what you wrote- and btw the exact thing happened to my sister in law
and its the kinda thing where sometime people dont understand what you really mean
if you had asked no one to come but that you appreciated the thought, yes they shouldnt have come
but you make them sound like they were being malicious and i really doubt that was their intent
seems like you harbor alot of resentment about things that just dont seem that big in the grand scheme of things, i have to wonder where your husband is in all of this
he really should be the one dealing with this stuff and making sure they dont impose on his new family
i was just relating to an experience i had with my sister in law as well as how i feel about my soon to be inlaws
where is your family? you havent mentioned your family coming to see the baby and it sounds like you may not be close with them, which may explain why you dont know how to respond to involved family
just my speculation but from what i have read of your posts on this board you have noted alot of very minor offenses which may just be a symptom of bigger problems, but them by themselves really don't seem to validate your reaction to your Family in Law
really best wishes to you but i would really make sure your husband knows what he should be doing so maybe your children can have great relationships with their grandparents-
these kids may be yours but it is still a very important relationship for them to have
the more love and safe places they can claim the better
