So, our trip to San Francisco was awesome... we rented scooters.. like Vespa type scooters, and drove all over town. It was sooo much fun!
I graduated from the DO Academy on Thursday. I was sworn in by the Sheriff, and then given my badge. It was really awesome. I was actually kind of sad though, because it was the last time I'll probably see some of those people for a long time.. all in all it was an awesome day though. I got to see the footage from my first "red man" fight scenario though, so that was sweet. I was assigned to the 4th Ave. Jail, which is the Maximum facility for the county. 90% of the people housed there are awaiting trial for violent crimes, and there's a lot of murderers and rapists in there as well.. most of them are only there for a short time, because it's just a stop for them before they go off to one of the state prisons, so it should be interesting. I hope to go back to the academy within the year though, and complete the deputy training program.
I saw SUPERBAD yesterday, and it was by far, one of the best movies I've seen all year. I laughed the entire time. No shit.
I got a new mouse for my computer today, and also picked up a copy of Rainbow Six: Vegas too, so that should keep me occupied for a little while..
Since I joined the blockbuster online thing, I've watched a ton of movies.. and it's been fuckin' rad. Since most of them are horror movies, I've got to see a few really shitty ones. Dead Meat was so horrible that I turned it off like 20 minutes into it. Bad Taste was alright, but it was pretty cheesey.. ya know.
Tria is bringing me Panda Express, so I gotta get outta here. Later.
