(no subject)
So, I put in my two-week notice at my job on Thursday after a disagreement with my supervisor, and then I told her that I wouldn't be in on Friday. So, when I go back to work on Monday she doesn't say a word to me. Then after I get back from lunch, I get a note from her saying that she needs to speak with me. She told me that since I skipped work on Friday (which she said I was not allowed to request the day off, because she was busy being a spiteful cunt) the company was accepting my resignation, and I could go ahead and leave. I was fuckin' stoked!!
I took my polygraph test for the Sherrif's department on Friday, so I'm waiting to hear back from them about that. If I passed the test (which I'm pretty sure I did) then they'll give me a formal job offer. They've already given me a conditional job offer, so yeah... I'm hoping this works out.
As far as the military goes.. The Air Force, along with the Marines will not accept me because of my tattoos. They don't accept anyone that has visible tattoos in the PT uniform because they're trying to have a more "professional" image. Sucks. The Army wants me to enlist crazy bad though.. I'm still not sure about it.
I think Tria and I are moving back to the old apartment complex.. this new place sucks major dick, and we found out that our lease is completely void, because the owners never registered the property with the county. We get our deposits back, and our lease is broken with no questions asked. It's pretty tight.
We're going to get a 2 bedroom apartment at the old complex, so come visit, and you'll have somewhere to stay!
