So.. today was busy. After getting only three hours of sleep, I was up around 4:30 or something.. then at work right around 6:00 (normal so far). I live in Peoria, but work in Scottsdale. This probably means nothing to pretty much anyone reading this, but my apartment is roughly 35-40 miles from the office.. sooooooo, it's a bit of a drive (this will be relevant later, I swear). Anyways.. I work all day, take a half hour lunch, which is 15 minutes longer than I usually take, and don't go on break at all, but I never take breaks.. so yeah.. I left at 4:30 this afternoon.. so that's what, 10 hours? Ehh, something like that (it's late, and I'm tired). From work, I drive straight to the gym I'm training at, and change clothes. My session only lasted 50 minutes today.. but the thing that most people don't understand about the workouts there, you go nonstop, with a minute break every 15.. it's intense. The gym is around 15 miles from my office, in the opposite direction of my apartment.. so, at 5:50 when I get into my car, I've got a 50-55 mile drive home, which usually takes a little over an hour. Traffic can suck it.

I get home at 6:55, and check my email.. I also checked myspace to see what time the show was tonight. I find out that the show starts at 7. I get in the shower, and get dressed, and I'm out the door again by 7:15. The venue is roughly 25 miles from where I live, and it takes me around half an hour to get there. So, at 7:45, I walk in to catch the last song from Can I Say. Kinda bummed me out, since I really wanted to see them play to see what they were like.. I'm still thinking about playing bass for them. Daggermouth sets up pretty quick, but the bass head is fucked, so that takes a while to get fixed.. Daggermouth was fucking amazing! That band get's better and better every time I listen to them.. and seeing them tonight for the first time pretty much put them at the head of the list in my book. It would have been such a good show, but the venue is also an art gallery or some gay shit, so they had these huge signs posted everywhere saying "No Dancing".. so, everyone pretty much just stood there and looked at them. I actually got on stage for a minute during one song and got the mic, but other than that.. there was no crowd participation at all. The fact that you couldn't do anything at this show really ruined it for me, so while I was totally stoked about seeing Daggermouth, I didn't give a shit about seeing Verse, Have Heart, or Shipwreck. I spoke with the guys in Daggermouth for a while, then took off. I get home, and it's a little before 10 I think.. I've been cleaning, and doing laundry from that time, up until now.. and now, after the three hours of sleep last night, 10 hours of work, 50 minutes of high intensity training/boxing, driving all over the fucking valley, and seeing one of the best bands around right now.. I'm fucking beat.

My shin splints are really kicking my ass now.. they actually hurt so bad that I might not be able to fall asleep.. because it happened a few weeks ago.

So yeah.. I feel like shit, and I've gotta get up and start all over again in five hours. I'm getting the fuck in bed. Goodnight.

ps - Tria get's home tomorrow.. I've missed her a lot! Her sister-in-law is going to be induced tomorrow so she'll give birth.. so everyone is going to be at the hospital.. I'll be kickin' it with my residential mortgage homies.. wha chu kno bout dat!?

Later.
