While he didn't really understand how it worked still, Shizuo was willing to give the whole dreaming thing a shot. He wasn't sure what exactly he should dream about, so he tried thinking of things that would be considered "happy." So imagine his surprise when he opened his eyes and saw a black cat standing on his chest and staring down at him.
"...Neaka?" He squinted at her before he sat up and looked around, his confusion growing. "The hell, why are we in a field of flowers?"
They were not alone. As Neaka just mews and rubs against his chest purring, a bunch of other random, cute, cuddly animals just appeared and walked toward him. He quickly stood up, still holding Neaka in his arms as he stared at them all. The ironic thing was that not only were they not afraid of him, but Shizuo was starting to get creeped out by it.
As he took a step back, he felt a tug on his pant leg and looked down to see a..rabbit? Frowning, he picked the animal by the scruff of its neck. "...Hey, don't chew on that. You'll tear it." But he was still eying the sudden influx of cute animals.
"Chillax, Shizuo! They just wanna say hi. Yeesh."
Well that made him start and stare down at the cat he had been holding. "...Neaka!?"
"Well it's not the rabbit. Meow~ You should really lay off the instant ramen before sleeping, huh?" the cat continued as she just licked her paw.
And all Shizuo could do was just stare down in complete silence, trying to comprehend it all. After a few moments, he sighed and sat back down, a troubled frown on his face as he let the animals come toward him and be all...well, cute. "Guess if it's a dream..."
He's just glad that stupid flea wasn't here to see it.
