[Running on a mixture of pain killers and Prefect's gin, Barron had the small achievement of actually getting out of bed and going to get breakfast. Where, to his surprise, he recognized the guy who was currently serving him food. He looked more or less than same as he did in the death echo. It was impossible to forget the image of what that guy did to his face. Time to put down his tray and walk over.]

Hey. [Barron said, not sounding overly friendly at all.]

[Perry is not in the mood to deal with Barron. He's not in the mood to be working, really, but he couldn't bring himself not to go. His voice is a growl and he doesn't bother with pleasantries.] What?

[Barron was about to reply, but glanced down and noticed that Perry wasn't wearing gloves. Which, weirdly, broke whatever thin veneer of cool he had.]

[Perry's voice had sunk to an aggressive hiss. He leaned forward over the counter towards Barron.] You fucked with my memories.

No, I didn't. [Barron said automatically. Perry was a really large guy and the way he was leaning over the counter was concerning, but there was also a fair few people around.] And even if I did, that's no reason to kill someone.

[There's a pause and Perry narrows his eyes at Barron. Finally, he spits out:] You don't know what you did, do you? You don't even fucking remember.
