✧ NAME: Aisaka Taiga

✧ TIMELINE: Post episode 25, after she meets up with Ryuuji again.
✧ PERSONALITY: Aisaka Taiga initially comes off as extremely scary, for both men and women. She has an abrasive personality and difficulty speaking and relation to others, which leads to rumors being spread about her. As much as she puts on a face at school that is tough and unyielding, the rumors and things that the other people at school say bother her, and she secretly wishes that she could be nice to others.
Once she allows you to get to know her (and it really is a conscious decision on her part), you'll find that she is hiding a caring and affectionate, albeit lonely heart. Taiga is still very much a little girl and can react in childish ways - she loves Christmas, hates failing when attempting new things, and is rarely willing to compromise. She doesn't bother sugar-coating any of her words and is not afraid to speak her mind, with the exception of Kitamura who she believes herself in love with. She is painfully shy with him, almost to the point of being paralyzed - but takes strength from the knowledge that Ryuuji believes in her when she finally manages to confess. Taiga is someone who doesn't often rely on others, because she honestly believes that they will let her down just as her parents have.
Beyond that, she can be both playful and serious - she hides her kindness behind a mask of surly arrogance. At her worst, she is stubborn and argumentative. She can be condescending to others - hence how she often calls Ryuuji her "dog". When angry, any sense of self control appears to fly out the window, and she becomes known at school by her horrible temper. At her best, she is compassionate and kind, willing to sacrifice her image and personal happiness to please her friends and those she cares about. She's loyal, to a fault, and is willing to put aside personal feelings of dislike to protect someone else (such as when Kawashima Ami's stalker shows up in the manga and she allows the girl to stay at her apartment).
✧ ABILITIES/POWERS: >> stronger than her size allows. Taiga has demonstrated multiple times in the manga and anime that she is much stronger than her size suggests; both when she manages to tilt a telephone poll and when she gets into a fist fight with another girl over Kitamura.
>> shows some sort of ability to whack things with a practice sword. When she realizes that Ryuuji is the one who has taken her love letter to Kitamura, she attacks him with a bou and seems to have some skilll, despite passing out from hunger soon afterwards. Also, when she gets into a fight with Sumire (captain of the kendo team), Taiga is easily out classed but holds her ground well with a bou.
>> demonstrates some knowledge of hand to hand fighting. Also demonstrated by her fight with Sumire - Taiga is quick to punch the other girl in the face multiple times, and appears to know what she is doing; she doesn't hesitate and her blows are much stronger than you might expect from a girl of her size.

Oi. What the Hell is this?
[Oho, it's a rather grumpy sounding girl! If her voice is any indication, she'd really rather not be here. And she doesn't appear to be aware that she is broadcasting. It is unlikely, however, she would censor herself anyway. After a few minutes, there is a loud crash - as if she is currently throwing things across the room. Which she definitely is.]
W-WHERE AM I? I WANT TO GO HOME. I WANT TO GO BACK TO --
[ Taiga cuts herself off. No. Where ever this place was, she can't let them know about Ryuuji. Otherwise they might kidnap him too! Don't they know that her father is a rich man?! He'll pay to have her back -- right? She seems to be breathing hard now, and letting out small grunts of frustration. Then her voice lowers, as if speaking to herself or to a friend.]
Minorin .. Ryuuji .. Baka-chi..
✧ THIRD PERSON: With a muffled cry, Taiga launched herself at the tree, bou in hand.
She'd had it with this place - these people, the entire nonsensical beauty of it - she was at her wits end! And she only knew one way to express that; by beating the shit out of something (or someone). Since there was no one currently around for her to take her anger out on, she had to take it out on the environment. So here she was, beating her sword against a tree, in hopes that perhaps it would rise up and attack back, to give her something fight against.
Even worse was the fact that she knew exactly how hopeless she was! All of her attempts to find a way home had failed spectacularly, in typical Taiga fashion. She'd been foiled at every turn by the trees - this place seemed massive and while it wasn't as horrible as the water .. getting lost and starving to death didn't sound appealing either. But she refused to give up! She was just .. regrouping! Yeah, that was it!
"T-This .. stupid ... agh!"
Oh, good, she's now resorted to shouting at the tree along with smacking it. To no avail, of course. Even in a place like this, some things never change; the tree was not going to talk back, no matter how many times she hit it.

OOC: My third person sample was written for another game and adapted slightly for Il Promenade, though I realize that she's not wearing her mask, even though it technically takes place during the day. Also, finding a reliable source of history for Taiga is difficult, and the history on the wiki I ended up finding was incomplete. I'd be happy to add more to it, though perhaps in less detail than the one I found on the wiki.
