Until we came upon a non-icy section, and had to remove the skates. It'd be more troublesome in the end.
[Glancing around for anything to hold onto to help him up he frowned. He happened to not be near any walls. This was going be more difficult than he hoped.]

[ It's an innocent enough suggestion, and not necessarily exclusive to the non-icy ground. If Ciel grows tired of the ice, he's welcome to be carried. He knows this.
Sebastian regloves his hand, fussing briefly with the fur trim on the cuff. ]

[As appealing as that sounds, Sebastian has, of course, just now made it so at the very least Ciel will get across this stretch of ice on his very own.]

[ Sebastian only watches Ciel for a moment longer before producing his own 'Gear from his pocket to check the network.

[Luckily you won't be bored for much longer, because Ciel makes another attempt at standing. It's rocky, yet he remains on his feet. However the ice is still slippery and he goes stumbling into the nearest wall, where he grabs hold before he can fall again.]

[ Sebastian slows and shortens his strides to keep pace with Ciel. It's not difficult; rather, he's used to it. He doesn't point out that they'll travel faster if he carries the boy. ]
