The first while here can be pretty nerve wracking. It's not like home for most people. But there are a lot of folks who are willing to help a stranger out.

[ And it's not something she says, but it's... not something she entirely trusts, this idea of so any willing to help out a stranger. But she trusts it enough, and that enough, that she trusts it as all, is such a mark of where she's at in her life. ]
Kinda hard to believe all of that, but I guess it's pretty true. For at least a handful of strangers willing to talk and help a girl find her journal, huh?
