Rapper SNOOP DOGG will become an unlikely lecturer at Britain's prestigious Oxford University, where he will chair a one-off debate about smoking marijuana.
The hip-hop star, real name CALVIN BROADUS, has been asked to talk to students at the historic institution, because his lyrics demonstrate a wealth of knowledge about the positive and negative effects of drugs.
And Dogg is also considering discussing his views on videogames at his hour-long lecture later this year (05), reports British newspaper THE SUN.
An insider says, "It's amazing Snoop has agreed to appear. He is bound to be controversial but he's a hugely intelligent man known for his honesty.
"He won't be telling everyone to get stoned. He'll open a debate on the effects of drugs, including the bad side."
