Weekend project!!!
Well long story short about 2 months ago my dad fell out of out lazy boy and hit the wall and he put a hole in it. so for the past two months we have just walked by it saying we would fix it some time. So yesterday I was bored so I told my mom to give me some money and don't ask why. So I went to homedepot and bought what I needed (fiberglass tape, drywall mud, drywall screw even though I thought we had some) to do this project. Also on the way home I stopped by a house that was being built and looked in there dumpster for a piece of dry wall since I was only fixing a small hole I did not need a 4x8 piece of drywall. So to draw this story to an end I fixed the hole and it turned out really nice. I had to sand it down and remud it since I heated the mud up the first time to quick and it cracked but no huge deal. Here is some pictures of the project from start to finish.

Cut out bad drywall
Install boards behind drywall
Install new piece of drywall (rough fit is good enough)
Apply drywall mud
Sand down and you are done
