So like y'all know i spent 3 weeks in Guatemala visiting my sister and it actually surprised me tbh because i didn't expect it to be so americanized while still being so third world-ish.
In case you don't know, Guatemala is a small country in Central America, you can read more about it
here cause it's not my fault your self-centered country didn't teach you anything about it.
So i had to travel from floptown, Mexico to get there.
The border is a m e s s who da fuq do they think they are kidding they ain't stopping nojuan trying to cross to Mexico.
The country is basically in the jungle tbh, Mayans were true badasses ruling that land.
I visited a city called Antigua, it used to be the capital of the country until some earthquake happened which led them to change it to the current one. It's a qt colonial-style little town.
Before going back to mexico i visited the Lake Atitlan, basically hidden in the jungle and there was a big contrast with the local indigenous people who are very catholic (yeah the spanish fucked them over big time) and the european/north american tourist who all look like hipster stoners.
Pix because i know you bitches ain't gonna read shit:
An idea of what the city looks like from a 10th floor oop
the flamboyan buses, i don't think the picture even does it justice and you should google image them because this one is tame compared to other ones i saw.
