The tendency for fanbrats to write off all defenses of villains (and I mean defenses as in though-out arguements that they're not the worst thing ever, or taking issue with them being condemned for things they didn't actually do and other unjustified bashing, not just crying about them being held responsible for genuine misdeeds or trying to make it so they're not at fault for anything) as "Leather Pantsing" needs to DIAF. Yes, Draco in Leather Pants is a real phenominon, but that doesn't mean everyone who dares like or sympathize with a villain or has an alternate perspective on things is just a shallow fangirl being overprotective of a character they think is hot. Thinking like that is just as shallow and narrow-minded as the genuine 'Pantsers.
