It's the Jun Motomiya case all over again...
Okay, I can understand if the "loud, cheerful, energetic fangirl" archetype isn't your can of Ponta. No worries there. But that's one thing, and ANOTHER is to make dumbass anti-tributes where you make the canon friends of the girl hate her and bash her, when it's clear in canon that they DON'T.
Tomoka Osakada from Tenipuri *is* sometimes obnoxious and immature, but she's a good girl who wears her heart in her sleeve and plays an excellent foil for the shy and quiet Sakuno, the aloof and cocky Ryoma, and the rest of the Seigaku team. With her up-in-your-face style, her tomboyish behavior and her dedication of those she cares for, she's a chara with an incredible growth potential as well as quite fun to write/RP (I know that well, since I wrote a fic dedicated to her *and* have RP'ed Tomoka for at least two years); therefore, she still has room to develop. Not to mention - hey, you guys claim there's a lack of strong females in Tenipuri, yet when you're given a tomboyish and outspoken lady you go and chew on her? BITCH, PLEASE.
So, yeah. You might not be thrilled with Tomoka, but that's no jutification for bashing her. IMHO, she doesn't deserve half the bashing she gets in the Tenipuri fandom.
