Belated new-member entry~
Hello all~ I've actually been here for a couple of days, but because I've been so tired and busy, I kept forgetting to introduce myself. Eheh~ Hope that isn't bad.
I'm very happy this community exists~ It seems like nowadays there's more and more ridiculous hatred of certain characters in fandoms, and I've finally just gotten completely sick of it. It's got to where I don't go to alot of fan-websites, message boards, or other communities~ Which is fine; whenever I get into a series, I usually fade into my own little universe with it~
And here's my list of some of my favorites who often get bashed -
Tsukasa (.hack//SIGN) (What's so bad about being "mysterious"? If you completely forgot who you were, wouldn't you be "mysterious", too?)
Darcia (Wolf's Rain) (So he's kinda demented~ Big deal.)
Kikyou and Kagome (Inu-Yasha) (...I don't even need to say anything about these two~)
Vicious & Julia (Cowboy Bebop) (Again the dementedness~ And somebody please explain to me what's so bad about Julia~ She's a very strong-willed woman and I find that admirable.)
Relena (Gundam Wing) (Everywhere I went, there was always someone bashing her~ Haven't seen GW in a few years and can't remember all that much about her, but I remeber her not being a bad character at all~ And she's quite pretty.)
Kuja, Eiko, Amarant, and Garnet (Final Fantasy 9) (There's nothing wrong with any of these characters~ Especially poor Kuja.)
...Probably got more, but I can't think up any of 'em right now (To be honest, there isn't a single character I've ever truly disliked, so I may be defending alot here in the future)~ If you don't like a character, that's absoulutly fine~ We all have our own opinions and views. But to go as far as bashing and corrupting them in fanfiction is just plain idiotic and sad~ Why not spend your time doing something more productive~
