ARGH HULK SMASH TRIGUN FANDOM!!!!GRAR

Well, it's me again. Some of you may remember me from my last post in this community, where I overreacted about the Fullmetal Alchemist fandom. Sincere apologies all round for the offensive remarks I made and the flamewar. It was really uncalled for.

Now that that's over with, it's back to the Trigun fandom.

Oh, great, the old "she's mean to the guy so she's a nasty annoying bitch!!1!!!!111!" thing. God forbid a woman in any series have a temper and not get along with a man or FIND FAULT WITH HIM. Y'know, cause guys are all godlike and wonderful and perfect and if they do something stupid it's somehow all the girl's fault. >_< Can we say "James from Pokemon", everyone? He's adorable and hilarious, but he does stupid things because HE IS NOT VERY BRIGHT. (I HAVE seen Jessie made out to be worse than she is to James. And even if she isn't often bashed, there's still the "justify her behavior with piles of angst and whining" garbage.)

On a similar note, I'm really, really surprised people haven't started bashing the Misu sisters in Sorcerer Hunters for being so rough on Carrot. Even the yaoi fics that have Carrot feeling more comfortable with a guy, hiding the relationship, etc, don't make a big deal of how EVOL the Misu sisters are and turn them into whiny annoying homophobic bitches. Sure, they get little to no screentime, but that's to be expected. The point is, they're not bashed.

And that makes me happy. :D
