"You know, this is really odd."
That certainly was the understatement of the year and Merlin had seen his fair share of odd things during his stay in Camelot, such as the king marrying a troll, for instance. As he surveyed the man before him, the one who looked so much like Arthur and yet, claimed to be someone else, he realized what a mess they were in. Where was the real Arthur? Either way, this guy was going to have to stand in for the prat prince because no one was going to believe he was who he said he was. His mind was still reeling, boggling at the strange clothing and attitude that this look-alike had picked up. He supposedly knew about Merlin's powers as well, which meant both their heads could roll if Uther caught wind of this.
"First off, we've got to get you out of those clothes and into something more befitting a prince. So, you're going to come with me back to the castle and try to act like Arthur! I don't know about you, but I like my head where it is."
Luckily they weren't far off from the main gates and he was able to lead Bradley to the castle in a fairly short amount of time and with very few people stopping to converse with them.
