I've been too busy these last two weeks with school and work to even log into LJ. Catching up on 15 flist pages is a chore.
Broadcasting school is coming along at a nice, blistering pace. I knew it was an accelerated course going in, but I didn't really grasp that the idea is to turn students into competent DJs and TV news reports within eight weeks. It's been a little like Survivor; five weeks in, we've lost five of the initial fourteen students.
We'll be shooting a news broadcast next week, composed of the packages all the students have shot and edited over the last two weeks this weekend. All the jobs were given to the students. Two anchors, studio crew, control room crew. I'll be playing the role of the director. I get to stand around and bark instructions into a head set. XD
Hopefully, I'll know what's going on when we do this thing. Thus far I've been playing director without any idea of what the anchors are doing. It's funny, but not conducive to good television.
