I'm sorry and i probably sound like an idiot when i ask you this but i'm confused over this step..like how do i find the buttons to do this stuff? sorry about that..
2. Duplicate your base, and set it to screen at 100% opacity. Sharpen it if you need to. Play around with your opacity, not every image will turn out the same!

OK you can duplicate your base by clicking on the little button that's next to the "layer group" button, or it's the 5th button on the right side. If you hold your cursor over each button, a thing will appear saying what each button is. You sharpen by going to adjust:sharpness then click on "sharpen". Hopefully that's a good enough explanation for you but if not I can try to make up some pics!
