(no subject)
i am thrilled! STOMP is on m. rogers! the perfect combination of funk and fatherfigures. ah, the blessiings.
went to meet a client today. he was a no sow after about 20 minutes, but i was able to help a different client out with something else. then stopped by my office, chatted with my boss' boss, and checked out "no more prisons" and "moveon's 50 ways to love your country" from the library there.
i had another ight with my sister, and we left it semi-resolved. she and her boyfriend of 4.5 years boke up a couple weeks ago, and i need to remember to be gentle with her. she tries so hard to maintia this calm, together, fashion plate exterior, and because of this it can be difficult sometimes to remember that she is probably more fragile than most folks emotionally. but she was also being dumb and demanding, so there's the flipside.
tricky and i fried up some fajitas for lunch. i had pulled some cheicken from the freezer yesterday andwas planning to grill it, but saw i had a pepper that needed to be used immedietly or tossed, so there we got. tricky loves chicken and ate some cheese, onions, tortilla and avacado too, plus some pretzels and part of a rice cake, and then nursed a bunch. i hope he's as full as me. wow.
yesterday in the mail i got a great fairy package from hmg7500. it included a new bottle of hylands teething tablets, some deo-disks for the diaper pail, some great wipes, and her new an improved butt putty with shea btter from the nature baby company, a concoction that has long since been a favorite for butts and everything else around here. my last tub was almost out, so it was a perfect addtion. thanks mama. i really am kidnapping lorrie and katie and coming to see y'all next summer, and i don't leave the state for much.
need to work on a picture post today, plus have fucktons of housework. but i have tonight off!
