Someone once introduced me, few years back I think, this pair of Iranian DJs, going by the moniker Deep Dish. I can’t remembered the title, cos I lost that track when my hard disk crashed last year. All I know is, that track got my heart pumping.
So image my delight at reacquainting myself with them again, courtesy of D.I.’s progressive channel. It was a holistic experience, with the duo spinning for an hour or so. The album was Global Underground, CD2, in Toronto if I am not wrong. It blew my fucking mind away! Sander Kleinenberg’s Work To Do and Sasha and Junkie XL Breezer are just brilliant!
So I headed down to HMV as soon as possible and surprise, they have the album I wanted. Well, now I am not too sure about that, because 60 bucks for one CD sure can dampen the temptation a lot.
I mean, I love Deep Dish but I love my 60 bucks as well.
And in the end, I took the easy way out.
Ok, I know, I suck, and I shouldn’t be promoting intellectual theft in here.
Or musical theft. Darn. You know what I am talking about.
But fuck me silly man, does it feel ever feel so good downloading the track and listening to it for free.
So Deep Dish, to make up for the stealing, I will spread the news in here. Well, as much as I can anyway since I don’t have a large friends base. Hopefully one of them will be addicted enough, and rich enough, to buy your track.
