I love teachers with a sense of humor.
This friend of mine, he was teaching a Sec 4 English class. So he gave them a worksheet to do and when it was done, he asked for a show of hands for those who put down A as the answer.
A majority of the class put up their hands. And he asked them; do you think you are correct?
They looked around, and they all said yes.
Well, you are wrong he told them. And after a space of a minute, he asked the class again; what can you learn from this episode?
A lot of answers were given but he shook his head in amusement.
Nay. The lesson we can take from this showing of hands is; democracy is a farce.
It took the message 5 minutes to sink in before the class breaks out in laughter.
