On Thursday, Febraury 22, Loch Raven's chorus, band and marching band students excitedly ventured off to none other than the place where dreams happen, Disney World.
As many students may know, every other year Loch Raven High School is invited to Disney World to perform for visitors. This year, Loch Raven's marching band also enjoyed the chance to travel to Disney World and join in on the fun.
"I would rather stay home and spend a weekend with you, Kaitie," said junior Nick Krus. Krus is a member of both symphonic band and marching band. He spent his Friday and Saturday performing in concerts. Krus spent the rest of his time sight-seeing around the four different parks Disney World has to offer, and riding fabulous rollercoasters.
So exactly what do the rest of the students think who are not enjoying their time in sunny Florida, but stuck at home in the current snow? Well, they are not too impressed with the musical students.
Yes. I am a writer hahaha. So gay.
Umm so this weekend has been pretty good despite the fact that Nicholas has not been here. Yesterday I went driving at 7 and that was really good. I did alright. Later Brian called and I played some tennis!! I did really good!!! I love playing so much. I'm excited for the season to start. I think I'm less scared now. I really want to play Mixed Doubles with Brian. I think that would be a lot of fun.
Today I went driving for like 15 minutes in the snow lol. I did really good though. I feel pretty confident with my driving abilities now. I have to finish my thesis, outline and notecards for English. I know I'm going to get a terrible grade. I have an 87%, which sucks. I need an A. But, I do have an A in Spanish and I really thought I wasn't going to have anything higher than a B. So that's awesome. Yeah...school sucks. A lot.
