a Wii bit of luck
so, my dad has been trying for a month now to get a Wii for my christmas present. mostly online, but also checking local stores a few times. he set up one-click shopping on a few online stores. every time someplace gets a shipment in online, it's sold out in less than a minute. this includes shipments of 2000+ consoles.
But even local stores sell out in a very short amount of time.

so anyway.
i went to Walmart last night to get some food, and they happened to get a few Wiis in about an hour beforehand. i was able to grab the last one!
i love luck ^^
too bad i can't really get any games for it until my birthday in 3-5 days, because a couple of the presents they are sending to me are unknown games.
