Having spent nearly half a day sulking in the wilderness that surrounds the city, Sniper finally caved to his major vice of modern man: coffee. [Chibi's head tilts and he sits...or rather plops, down and paws a button. "Chibiterasu" replaces the video for a moment. The only text he can send.]

[He glances through the scope to make sure BLU is still there before looking back to the device, only to find the feed has been replaced by a word. He fumbles over the pronunciation.]

She... beeterasu? S'that your name, pup?

[Because if so, then that means two things: the dog knows how to tell people its name through the phone, and Sniper's world just got that much weirder.]

[Sniper actually keeps his eyes on the screen a few moments, studying the wolf pup rather than keeping an eye on his opponent. He can't tell if it's a male or female, and why someone would paint markings like that on him is beyond the sharpshooter; however, he's determined to come up with something.]

I know! I took a trip to England a few years ago- well, I s'ppose it's been longer than that, now. Still, was this band that was real popular there at the time. Sent my parents their record. Dad hated it, but Mum thought they weren't so bad, and that loop on your 'ead made me think of one of them just now.

[He suddenly looks back to his rifle and fires. His expression is mixed with annoyance as he swears under his breath, but it fades as soon as he looks back to the video feed. It's hard for him to be angry at a dog.]

Right, Ringo. Maybe you should take the phone back to your owner now. And don't drool on it too much while ya do.

[Sniper will totally show his new dog pal the ways of the hunter someday. Until then, he's rather enjoying talking to a wolf on the phone. Not that he'd ever admit it to anyone. Or admit he was doing it in the first place.

He eyes the feed again, sitting up.]

Hm, where is that you're staying? Doesn't look much like-

[There's a loud CLACK! and his communicator takes a tumble to the ground below, cutting off the call abruptly.]
