I Got Slapped (Oww!)

Jul 24, 2009 19:18

Let me show you exactly how to NOT get slapped, and instead bring in tons of leads, and eventually profits. Oh, uh.. I didn't get physically slapped, but virtually, by Google Ad words. They slapped me and took my money because of this stupid mistake! Let me show you how to avoid this and sky rocket your network marketing lead generation.

Listen... I know you're looking for cheap leads but don't be lazy. Lots of marketers who are just starting off tend to let this key subject fly right past them or they just didn't get the memo.

What does it end up costing you?

Leads + profits + hair + sanity. What does this equal? You giving up, or maybe even beating someone up (very bad)

I've got a solution though, keep reading.

Right now let me share with you how to avoid this messy situation by making something very clear to you. This will guarantee that you get you more click-throughs and more leads. Just plan on using it ASAP.

Key is, look past the surface. You see, most beginner marketers think on a very broad level. If you're making the same mistake that most are, don't fret.. I'm about to make your day.

See those nameless clicks that just went through your ad words account? They are people who are looking for something specific. They are human beings who are looking for a solution to something.

But that 'thing' you're trying to show them might not be exactly what THEY are looking for.

You see, when someone is searching for a term like "network marketing", or "home based business" he or she might not exactly be looking for what you're trying to offer them. What I mean is, people searching for terms like that are pretty much folks who are "just looking", kinda like window shoppers in a mall. They have no intent of buying just yet.

These searchers are not serious.

My point? Don't bid on such general terms. You are looking for someone who is ready, with their wallet out on their desk, looking for something to buy. A person searching "network marketing" is just researching at this point. He or she is not the type of prospect you want.

Whats the solution?

Bid on keywords which are specific, and also long-tail. Not "network marketing", but maybe "xango leads", or "monavie prospecting help." THESE are specific. These searches are looking for a direct solution to something, not some 'general' thing. Swallow it up my friend, this is going to be awesome for your network marketing lead generation.

These are the people who are most likely frustrated and looking for a solution. These are the ones most likely to buy. Do a search on "network marketing", but don't use it as a keyword to bid on. Instead, go out there and look at products, leader names, systems or anything related DIRECTLY to achieving something in network marketing and bid on those keywords instead.

Use the Google Keyword tool to see which keywords are getting the most searches, and compare the global search volume with the local search volume for the last month to see if there is an "upward" trend. If traffic has not increased in the last month compared to the global search volume, then just drop it. Not worth your time.

While using the tool, look for additional variations of the keyword to see if you could target those as well. This is the key my friend. Use this one little tip and you're going to be bringing in cheap leads like clockwork.

Bonus tip : Customize your target landing page with the main keyword that is on your ad.

Example Ad:
Joe Schmoe Isn't Stupid

But Does He Know These

Insane MLM Strategies?

Joe Schmoe is the main keyword here. So what you'd do on your landing page is stick "Joe Schmoe" in the Headline, just make it flow. Highlight it a different color, and this way, when the prospect comes to you page he or she will see that the topic they were searching for is on the page. This will bring up conversion rates by a lot, assuming you structured your landing page correctly.

To The Top,
Hassan Ajmal
