VIRGINIA POTTS NAMED CEO OF STARK INDUSTRIES
Tony Stark has named Virginia "Pepper" Potts as Stark Industries new chief executive officer. The announcement comes on the heels of Stark's testimony at the Senate Arms Committee
Potts, 34 has served since 1995 as Stark's personal assistant as well as sitting on the board of the Maria Stark Foundation. Potts holds a master's degree in business administration from Stanford.
When asked about his appointment Stark commented with "There are other things I need to focus more on, and there is no one I trust more to look after my company and its best interests. She has proved to be very competent and capable to carry out the responsibilities that being CEO entails, and I'm proud to let her take over. She will do a great job, I already know it."
Daniel Novak, SI board member said "Since the unfortunate death of our CFO Obadiah Stane last year, Pepper has stepped up to ensure that in the face of Tony's new responsibilities as Iron Man that Stark Industries hasn't missed a beat."
Potts is expected to take control effective immediately.
