Last night
I quite enjoyed last night; pixiewitch7's birthday party. The trek out was a little long, but I was fortunate enough to find a ride back in the early hours of the morning.
It was also good to catch up with mordwen for the first time in a long time. We didn't even discuss politics for very long, but my interest has finally returned. Mainly on an international front, though, as the Victorian election is still dull and is unlikely to change. There's a lot more riding on the coming U.S. Mid term elections, particularly in view of some of the things mordwen pointed out last night. I just watched that Olbermann rant and I see what you mean. The clips I mentioned were this Colbert one on Kissinger and this one on election fraud.
For fizit (and everyone else in the kitchen at the time), the film I mentioned that piqued your interest and is one of my all time favourites is The Lion In Winter.
On a totally unrelated note, after poking around Wikipedia for a bit, I don't think Crystal is a Russian Blue after all. I think she's more likely to be closer to a Chartreux, the cat pictured in the article looks so similar to Crystal it's uncanny. At least it goes some way to explaining her moods: she's French!
