[ ACTION - 766 BUNKER, MORNING, LOCKED TO HOUSEMATES ]
[ Tsuruko's life has been much more mundane than the average non-droned Mayfield citizen.
...Yes, a ghost who she can't even see has been the closest thing to odd she's known. And even that was peculiar to the average person, very much so. She's lucky it's summer, or she'd be missing school- for all her smarts, she's definitely scared waking up to an unfamiliar ceiling, room, house. But she won't sit around forever, either. After about 15 minutes steadying herself, she sneaks downstairs as quietly as she can and, assuming this is some sort of kidnapping, is preparing to scurry out when she registers her new environment- the 50's technology and styles, and most of all the pictures. Pictures she's in, with people she doesn't know...
Her new family can probably find her staring at them, walking around very slowly as not to register attention. If she hears or sees you first, she might duck behind a couch or the like, but you've got her. ]
[ ACTION - AFTERNOON, THE LIBRARY ]
[ After all that, she needs something familiar. Though she's still a bit antsy, especially seeing all the drones outside, she's walked around town to clear her head and ended up at the Library. Books are her territory. However, those who notice her will find her merely skimming through most of the books she picks up and then putting them back. Nothing here has any substance. It's all too perfect (something common to Mayfield), and the cooking novels put out for teenage girls aren't for her.
She'll probably end up going home with nothing. ]
[ PHONE - EVENING ]
[ a short pause before she begins- ] Ah, hello. My name is Chiriko Tsurumi, and I've just arrived here. I know the circumstances are...odd, to say the least, but I still thought an introduction would be nice. It appears I'll be going to Mayfield High School in the fall, so I assume I'll see many of you there.
In any case, have a nice night. [ -click. And with that, she quietly breathes a sigh of relief. For all the trouble, she felt the need to do that. ]
