After a couple runs downtown I dropped in at Card's Bakery for coffee and a cranberry orange tea biscuit. But right on the counter were apple pie slices for $1.50. Oh, the exteme temptation but I passed as I am trying to cut unnecessary calories from sugar.

Afterwards I went to Nexus to rest my weary feet. I mentioned the pie sale. It attracted some attention from the store owner.

Everybody likes fresh apple pie.
