Jumping in the deep end at Anime North 2015!
So this is the year of keeping my promise to Buddha Monkey that when he reached double digits in age he would go to AN with me. At least his brother is coming with us so there is help here.
This is also the year he wants to do The Masquerade. This is the showy costume competition at Anime North (think The Heroes of Cosplay but stricter rules). So we have a skit to work, a costume to make, maybe a prop, and all sorts of small details to sort before May.
And I promised to help out in The Masqurade office on Saturday morning and early afternoon for four hours.
I suggested two panels for the convention, Middle Aged Otaku and Budgeting for Anime North, which have to run for 50 minutes.
I am so trying to kill myself this year but it should be fun too!
