Been awhile.
Been busy the past few weeks with work, trips, and other activities.
Work has been a pain. The new tenant has earned my ire by going over my head. Things breaking, people being dumb, and just the usual drama as the weather gets warmer.
Went to Anime North 2014. This year I volunteered a few hours every day. I got to se a side of the con I won't see again for awhile. I got to cosplay as Ms Fiji from Silver Spoon for a whole day too.
Went to Toronto with Buddha Monkey for visit my brother-in-law and his family. We saw How To Train Your Dragon 2, went to the new Ripley's Aquarium, visited Fort York during the Indigenous Art's Festival weekend, listened to my brother-in-laws bar band play in a record store garage, and introduced the family to Lilo and Stitch. Sunday was lazy day. And we played a bunch of card games I brought.
In the LARP area, managed to pull my act together enough for the Daeva Ball. The other LARP has been fun too but for different reasons but the website hates me.
Next big events are my usual trip to Fantasia Film Festival. Website goes live on the 10th and tickets go on sale the 15th. This year I want to go to St Joseph's Oratory because I have never been.
I hit 50 this year. (Whoo hoo!) After looking into how much jumping out of good plane would cost ($300.00 plus taxes) , I decided to go back to my roots and go horse back riding ($40.00 plus taxes).
I should update my reading list this weekend too.
