FFF Day Four.
Yesterday's viewing pleasure was a trip down memory lane. BLOOD-C: THE LAST DARK had all the visual style as the original BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE. And add a bit of CLAMP and you have a lovely slashy peice of work. BERSERK GOLDEN AGE ARC 1: THE EGG OF THE KING was also a hack and slash peice of work but it's just beginning of the retelling of this classic anime. There better be more because we were left on a lovely emotional cliff hanger.
We had a cold dinner at my mom's. Had to fight off Thumbalina's attempts to snag some cold chicken for herself. We watched LITTLE BIG SOLDIER as the movie for the evening, Pearl settling in Mom's lap and Thumby finally settling beside The Hubby on the couch. Got caught up on the local family news. And they both asked for my dad's email as it would be cheaper than phone calls.
Today is our final movie and my mother will be joining us since there should be very little violence as it's a Korean nostagia comedy.
