Peter Falk died on Thursday.

He was one of many iconic TV detectives I grew up with in the 70's and probably the one I remember the most, he was smart yet crafty and not really violent. He was also in a lot of movies but The In-laws was probably the most memorable for me and The Princess Bride because he did have the kindly grandfather image down pat by then. And every time I look at his iMDB profile I mentally tick a movie I saw and enjoyed.

Just one more thing Mr. Falk - you'll be missed.
