You know you are getting older when ...
.. you start taking care of your face a bit more.
So I decided to get a facial regime started and bought the Body Shop's Vitamin E Starter set. I comes with a creamy cleanser, toner and two moisturizers. My only complaint - the pot for the day moisturizer is black and the one for the night cream is pink. Kinda counter intuitive if you ask me. Otherwise it's doing OK. I will need some stuff with SPF soon.
The Souci is being extra cuddly with The Hubby. He's hoping it pays off in her letting him sleep alone in bed tonight. She also licked his hands this morning, something at McD's made her happy.
I ran into a lot of people in my neighbourhood and it was nice to catch up. Substitute teachers still get no respect but Rosa does. I need to visit Audrey, the lady down the street, more often because she's quite a character. It's nice for me to have good news to share with the locals.
So far no one has come to door to ask for anything yet but I have two letters to deliver still so I will try after supper or tomorrow morning. But the night is young and some people will try to see how far they can push me to get things done for them.
Otherwise I am going to stay home, play a bit of WOW, do some replies for LARP and listen to some radio shows on CFRC. And drink some Earl Grey tea I just bought today at Cooke's. Huzzah for money and a future money.
And I have to tidy up the place for overnight visitors tomorrow and bake a cake. Pray for me.
