It's getting cold at night. I should clean the wool blankets soon so they will fluff up a bit and get freshened up for the long winter ahead. The balcony door needs to be closed sooner but Sans-souci will go bat shit crazy if she can't go out on the balcony. Pity for her the golden leaves on the maples out front are almost all gone.
Saw the loveliest calico cat at Birds and Paws on Brock Street. She is fixed and has all her shots and has a lovely disposition with people and small dogs. She is a stray so the staff are hoping she gets a good home soon. So tempted but I think Sans-souci would throw a spazz. I seem to do best with calicoes and black and whites cats.
There is a gray and white cat too. She is friendly with adults but not so good with other animals. She crawled out from her hiding space right unto to me. I think she would do best with a couple and is the only pet. She is also fixed and has all her shots. Both cats are available for adoption. So if you know some who is looking for a cat give them or the Humane Society a call.
