I love the show. The geek factor scares me. The end was priceless because the guys' pop culture knowledge was so narrow. The Brady Bunch question nearly killed me.
Before that, I watched another show on Radio-Canada called
Ici Louis-Jose Houde. He's a comic from Québec and this show digs through the expansive archive at Radio-Canada Télévision. The had a beautifull clip of an Anglo politician making "une grosse gaffe avec la langue française".
He said: "Je suis dégoutante!" (I am disgusting!)
What he meant to say was: "Je suis dégoute!" (I am disgusted!)
Even my mother would get this and her French is so-so. I give him "A" for effort because he was in scrum in the Parliament Halls.
Louis-jose Houde's own website. My French accent is kinda like his but more metropolitan. At least that's the accent I grew up with in Québec.
