She moved out of the retirement residence into an apartment. My brother was over to paint the walls. She is still getting stuff for the place like basic ingredients for cooking and baking. She got more furniture. She got her own television. Now all she needs is a cat. And a DVD player.
We talked about a lot things about family, tv and books. It's good to hear she is having fun though. She has an expansive view of the Montreal skyline from her apartment.
The main reason for my call was to get her meatloaf recipe. Oddly enough, she's having that for dinner too. Let's hope mine turned out ok.
