Ok, we have Anime On Demand from Cogeco which is the ADV library so The Hubby and I have been watching a lot of anime of late.
Kanon
Very cute and funny but took a step into the Twilight Zone by the end of Episode 4. Here I was thinking I was getting romantic/comedy/harem but the dash of weirdness at the ends of episode 3 and 4 have me wanting to see more.
Magikano
A rather wicked take on Magical Girl Anime series. Episode 2 was seriously and hilariously on crack.
Cosplay Complex
Um yeah! Watch to fist episode in conjunction with Magikano # 2 and your brain will implode under the pressure of the sheer over the top craziness to the series. It hits all the usual tropes of cosplayers and high school clubs. Coach's Corner has a new meaning here. It is rated A for several reasons but the end of episode #1 clinched it for me.
