IV. Video/Action for Route 34 + Text

Video/Action:

[The video feed doesn't show Gorthan anywhere, but those are some pretty good shots of the sea from the beach on Route 34. It appears that the scientist is using the cam to film his newly evolved Gallade as the Pokémon uses his Confusion attack to levitate poor, defenseless Tentacool out of the water, sometimes two or three at a time ( Read more... )

I found the disc at the Department Store in Goldenrod. Oddly enough it was stocked with a bunch of rocks.

As to the book, I have been reading it in my spare time. Machiavelli had some interesting ideas to say the least. I disagree with some of it, but they are still interesting nonetheless.

[It's exchanges like this one that make Gorthan realize that texting with the Commander is infinitely better than speaking to him!]

Ah, then it must have been in the same section where I found the Dawn Stone to evolve my Kirlia into Gallade.

I had no doubt you would find them interesting. Certainly, he cites many examples from the politics of his time, but I am sure that somebody like you can easily think of analogous situations in the politics of the day and age of your world of origin.

[Exactly how much does the Commander know about politics anyway, Gorthan wonders?]

Probably. Who would stock computer discs next to rocks though? That doesn't make any sense.

And yes, I have noticed some similarities. You'd have to be blind to miss them.

Where in Johto are you presently, Commander?

Ah. Why was I under the impression that you were somewhere else entirely...?

Anyway. I performed a full examination of your blood sample, including complete cell count, among others. Given that this kind of exam usually does not come particularly cheap and I have done it for free, perhaps you would be interested in picking up the results.

I have no idea why you would think that.

And fine, I'll pick them up. Where are you?

I am presently returning to base. But you can pick them up from the lab whenever you choose - I don't have to be there. Unless you don't trust the other scientists and want to see me, of course.

I'll pick them up now from whoever's in the lab. Even if I didn't trust the researchers, I highly doubt they can use the results of a simple blood test against me.
